Membership discounts will be verified! --> <p class=\"information\"><b>Traditional 5K\:</b> A traditional out-and-back 5K course on a crushed limestone trail. Your time is whatever you finish it in!</p> <b>Pump and Run 5K\:</b> Run an out-and-back 5K with the “traditional” racers\, but your time will be adjusted based off how many successful bench press reps you accomplish based off your demographic\: <center><img src=\"https\://secure.getmeregistered.com/images/fetch_image.php?img=uploads/events/141355/images/Screenshot%202025-05-13%20144223.png\" alt=\"\" /></center><b>How bench press works\:</b> - <b>Where\: </b>Peak Performance (4501 Southern Hills Dr. Suite 19\, Sioux City\, IA 51106) - <b>When\:</b> Thursday\, July 17th from 12\:00 – 7\:00 PM Friday\, July 18th from 9\:00 AM – 6\:00 PM - <b>Steps\:</b> Participants weigh in at Peak Performance &amp\; will bench (to the nearest 5 lbs) their respective weight according to their age/gender demographic. Reps MUST be spotted/recorded by a race official. - For every successful rep accomplished\, 1 minute will be deducted from the runner’s final 5K time. <b>Packet pick-up</b> at Peak Performance 7/17 through 7/18. <b>In-person sign up</b> at Peak Performance 7/17 through 7/18. <b>No day-of sign up allowed.</b> 5K Course\: The course is an out-and-back on crushed limestone. The race will begin and end in the vicinity of the Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve Visitor Center. Please Note\: Water will ONLY be available at the start/finish line. You will need to bring your own water bottle and carry water if you want any during the race. Also\, please keep the trails clean\; throw away your trash. Post Race\: Assorted snacks will be provided following the events. A percentage of the race profits from this event will go to programs and projects at Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve No Refunds No Transfers <strong>Awards</strong> Top three male and female winners for both the Pump N Run and the Open 5K will receive a trophy.
