Race Summary

 

The Grand Prix series for MRR members will be held Thursdays July 10, 17, 24, 31, 2008.  The first race will be at Adam’s Nature Preserve in South Dakota.  The second one will be at Scenic Park in Nebraska, the third race will be at Bacon Creek in Iowa, and the fourth race will be returning to Adam's Nature Preserve in South Dakota.  The race will begin each date at 6:00 PM.  Race registration will take place at 5:15 PM July 3 at Adam’s Nature Preserve, before the first race.  The cost is $28, which covers all four races, a t-shirt, and post race snacks. The Grand Prix will again handicap each individual runner based on time, which means ANYONE CAN WIN. The winner is the most improved runner over the course of the four races.  Please bring a verifiable time from a recent 5K race.  If you are new to running and have never run a 5K please contact the race director, we want to encourage runners of all experiences to come out and participate.  If you are not an MRR member you will be able to join at the first race.  Participants must pay the race fee and sign a waiver at registration July 10.
